We’re in double digits! This week, we have some more mythological fiction, a modern renaissance man and a podcast from everyone’s favourite modern philosopher.
A poem - that doubles as a mantra by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
More astro-homework - if you did last weeks Astro-homework, jump back into your chart and check your North/South Node. I just learned your South Node is where you’re currently at and North Node, your purpose/where you’re meant to aim towards.
Reading - The Song of Achilles. A follow up read after Circes by the same author. She’s a really amazing writer. The book is a breeze to read and so beautifully written.
A Youtube Channel - if you haven’t already, check out Rajiv Surendra’s YouTube channel. There’s nothing quite like him on the internet. His obsession with nostalgia is definitely idiosyncratic, but it’s really inspiring to see someone pursuing so many things and live in an entirely unique way.
An album - a diamond album (IMO) worthy of listening to from start to finish. I listened to it a decade ago and recently revived it because it’s aligning with this persistent electronic phase I’ve been in. Can report it’s aged like a fine wine.
A Podcast - ignore the click-baity title, but it’s got Alain De Botton in it, which meant I had to listen. This Podcast is the best of his stuff distilled and told with dry good humour.
Plant update - one month later, the seedling I planted is the most thriving plant in this little group. No zuchinnis yet, but the flowers are out.
